Maintenance Workdays
The Friends of Scadbury Park run maintenance workdays in Scadbury Park. These workdays are run by both our volunteers and members of staff employed by idverde. (Bromley Council).
We meet in the Old Perry Street Car Park at 9.45 for a 10.00 am start.
The leader will explain the conservation purpose of the work and supply the tools needed.
No experience is required and there are typically a variety of tasks to choose from depending on your level of skill/fitness. We usually work for a couple of hours with a tea break. Everyone is very welcome.
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the future of this beautiful park and see areas that are not open to the public.
Bring stout boots/wellingtons, and gardening gloves. Children must be supervised. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs on these workdays for safety reasons.
